Glassblowing Services:
The University of Queensland Glassblowing Workshop within the School of Chemistry & Molecular Biosciences has a high level of expertise in the fabrication and repair of a wide range of specialised and standard scientific glassware. An extensive range of glass components is held in stock including glass and teflon stopcocks, interchangeable ground joints, flanges, glass sinters, screwthread joints, graded and glass to metal seals.
The experienced staff in the workshop can provide expert advice and information regarding your special glassware requirements.
High vacuum systems can be constructed or repaired on site in your laboratory as well as repair work, and for customers who may require high temperature or high purity glassware we can offer a service in quartz.
