Award recipients

The annual SMMS Awards evening were held on Thursday 26th April, 2007 at the University Art Museum, the Mayne Centre. This was an opportunity for all staff and students to acknowledge the hard work that awardees in the discipline areas of biochemistry, chemistry, microbiology and parasitology have put into their undergraduate years. The awards were presented by Professor David Hume from the Institute for Molecular Bioscience at UQ. Professor Hume has recently taken up the position of Foundation Director of a new research institute within the University of Edinburgh, UK. We once again would like to congratulate all awards recipients.
