The undergraduate laboratories in Chemistry refurbished from 2002 won architectural awards for their design. The labs provide for both bench experimentation and computer-assisted classroom learning in the same space. Later-year student labs provide access to advanced instrumentation facilities. All major SCMB teaching laboratories utilise modern audio-visual technology to assist students undertaking practicals.
